Tomorrow (Tues) is Warrior Giving Day. The LC-State event hopes to encourage the community to show support for the institution and students by making a donation. A press release says money raised goes to support “students, school programs, and the future of the institution.”
This year’s event runs for 1,893 minutes between Tuesday and Wednesday. The time duration is a nod to the year the college was founded.
You can stop by the Activity Center between 7:30am and 11am tomorrow (Tues) for free coffee and doughnuts. The campaign officially gets underway at 9am. It lasts until 4:33pm Wednesday. There’s a gathering at the Center for Arts & History beginning at 3:30 with a countdown that is open to the community.
