An Idaho County deputy pulled over a driver for an equipment violation and ended up arresting her.
It happened Saturday evening, just before 7:30. The deputy was on Harpster Grade Road (Hwy 13), east of Grangeville.
While speaking to the driver, the deputy noticed possible intoxication, so he began the investigation. K9 Rip arrived with his handler and alerted on the vehicle.
A press release from the Sheriff’s Office says Grangeville resident, 34-year-old Brianna Palmer, was arrested for felony possession of methamphetamine, plus several misdemeanors, including possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, driving under the influence, driving without privileges, injury to a child, concealment of evidence, failure to maintain liability insurance, and contempt of court.
