Changes are happening at the Liberty Theater in downtown Lewiston. Today a sign company brought in several trucks to take down the “blade” sign that stuck out from the front of the building. Jan Johnson with the committee that’s preserving the Liberty Theater says it’s beyond repair, so they’ll have a new one created and it will replace the current one. Also in the works is removal of the “marquee”. The part that sticks out horizontally from the front of the building.
