Twin County United Way’s drive to help local people is underway and it’s going well, but it still needs more help. They’re calling it the Give and Win drive because everyone who signs up for a monthly donation of any amount is entered every month for a gift card. This month it’s from Costco.
Twin County United Way’s Blake Harrington explains this year they’re doing things just a little differently.
“Every year we always do a campaign, but we are calling this one the ‘Community Campaign’. We used to have an employee giving campaign, and we’re still doing that, but we realized we need to get out to everyone. We can’t get out to every single business, or so many people work from home now.”
