Retail Sales Up in Asotin County

Asotin County retailers saw a big jump in numbers in the 3rd quarter last year. The Washington Department of Revenue released the results for the state. Overall, the city of Clarkston saw a 9.4% increase in sales over 2024 for more than $103 million. The city of Asotin had a 12% loss. Overall, Asotin County saw a net gain of 6.6%.

Garfield County saw a 34.7% spike in sales over 2024. Meanwhile, Whitman County saw a drop of almost 6.1%. Pullman had a decline of nearly $14 million in sales.

Washington State saw an increase of 3.9% for a total of $63.4 billion in retail sales, largely in furniture, electronics, appliances, and construction.
