A Clarkston man is under arrest for felony child abuse.
48-year-old Matthew Hosking was taken into custody by Lewiston police Wednesday afternoon for alleged lewd conduct with a minor under the age of 16.
According to court documents, the allegation stems from 2013 by a woman who reportedly told investigators she was approximately 5 or 6 years old when Hosking allegedly initiated inappropriate contact.
In addition, since the arrest, 8 more alleged victims have made sexual abuse allegations against Hosking, though only one charge had been filed as of yesterday (Thur).
A preliminary hearing date has been set for March 4th. Bail has been set at $500,000.
