Asotin County Deputies found a car burning this morning. It happened at Swallows Nest Boat Launch, just south of Clarkston. The fire traveled to nearby bushes and a tree. Asotin County Fire District firefighters responded and found the car fully engulfed in flames. They had to cut open the hood to get to the fire in the engine compartment. We can not confirm the two are connected, but when I arrived, there was a gas can on the ground about 10 yards from the car.
