Twin County United Way is kicking off its fundraiser to help people who are getting by, but are on the verge of financial crisis. They’re called the “ALICE” population. ALICE stands for “Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed”.

They’re hoping to raise $400,000 to support critical programs that help those families stay healthy and financially stable. In doing so, their kids are more likely to succeed in school.

Every dollar donated staying in Asotin and Nez Perce counties and goes to providing food assistance, emergency shelter, essential hygiene products, and more.

If you’d like to donate, you can go to tcuw.org. If you sign up for a recurring donation of any amount, you’re entered into a monthly drawing to win a $100 gift card.
