You could get stuck in traffic trying to cross the Interstate Bridge later this month. The Washington Department of Transportation will be doing maintenance on the blue bridge Febraury 25th between 10am and 4pm. If necessary they’ll also be working on the 26th at the same times.
The delays will be about 30-minutes long each and there could be several each day. In January, during the normal, monthly test, there was a problem with the braking system once the bridge was up. They’re working this month to address issues in the lift system.
