Skylar Meade will be in prison for the rest of his life. In December he plead guilty to two counts of 1st degree murder. Yesterday (Tues) the judge handed down a life sentence for each.
The people he admitted to killing are James Mauney of Juliaetta and Gerald Henderson of Orofino.
The guilty plea deal he accepted meant there was no jury trial and Meade waived any rights to appeal the conviction.
The murders came after he escaped from prison with alleged accomplice Nicholas Umphenour. Umphenour accepted a plea agreement yesterday. He will be back in court February 10th for sentencing.
