Asotin County deputies arrested two men for allegedly stealing a generator from a local business. A release from the Sheriff’s Office says Undersheriff Richards and Deputy Carpenter responded to the business in the 1300 block of 16th Avenue outside of Clarkston. Surveillance video showed two people in a pickup truck walking around the property, and removing the generator on the 27th.
They were able to identify and locate the suspects within a few hours.
Before taking the men to jail, the Undersheriff had them reassemble and start the generator.
Kristopher Evans, and Rodney Olson were both arrested. The release says they are transient, and suspected of being involved in several other thefts in Asotin County.
