The Office of the Washington Secretary of State has certified statewide results from the 2025 November General Election.
According to vote totals certified by Secretary of State Steve Hobbs, more than 2 million total voters, or about 39.2% of registered voters, cast ballots in the statewide election. A complete breakdown of voter turnout and election results is available on the results website.
In addition to weighing in on numerous local contests and measures, Washington voters approved Senate Joint Resolution 8201, a constitutional amendment allowing state funds for long-term care services to be invested under the law’s guidelines. After passing a vote by the people, the constitutional amendment must be signed into law before going into effect.
Looking ahead to 2026 elections, eligible Washingtonians can register to vote or update their registration at any time. Registrations and updates can be completed online at VoteWA.gov, by mail, or in person at a county elections office.
The next election is Tuesday, February 10, 2026. The last day to file a resolution to appear on the ballot is December 12.
