Volunteer Firefighters from Nez Perce County Fire and Lapwai Fire were busy this weekend. On Saturday they both responded to an RV fire at Eaton’s Mobile Home Court between Lewiston and the Clearwater River Casino. Nez Perce County firefighters arrived to find the 5th Wheel ablaze, threatening other structures on two sides. The cause is still under investigation.
Then, Saturday evening, both departments along with Culdesac Fire extinguished a mobile home fire in the Sweetwater area. They were there for about 3.5 hours.
