
The American Automobile Association reports that as millions of Americans prepare for turkey and all the trimmings, many travelers are gobbling up plane tickets and plenty of gasoline this Thanksgiving.
Matthew Conde with AAA-Idaho says experts are projecting a new all-time record number of travelers for the holiday.
Travelers by motor vehicle should prepare for winter driving conditions in north central Idaho and eastern Washington through the holiday – especially in higher elevations and mountain passes. In addition, AAA urges motorists to carry emergency supplies, like food, water, a flashlight with fresh batteries and blankets.
