Clarkston FFA members are organizing a week-long donation drive to support the Asotin County Food Bank and Homes of Hope.
Now through Saturday, CHS students are participating in daily competitions to collect nonperishable food items, personal care products, and Christmas gifts for local foster children ranging from newborn to age 17.
Tomorrow (Thur) night at 6 p.m., the chapter will host a community cornhole tournament. Admission is one canned food item, and all community members are welcome to take part.
The week will culminate with the main collection event on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Clarkston Walmart, where FFA students will gather donations from the public.
