The University of Idaho College of Science invites students, teachers and community members to Vandal Science Day, a free, hands-on science experience from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7, at the Integrated Research and Innovation Center (IRIC) on the Moscow campus.
Designed to spark curiosity and excitement for discovery, Vandal Science Day gives middle and high school students the chance to explore science up close. Participants will interact directly with U of I professors, students and researchers while engaging in activities across the sciences.
Highlights include:
- Interactive science activities and demonstrations.
- Guided lab tours, including a video game design studio.
- Giveaways and photo opportunities.
- Opportunities to meet and learn from faculty members, undergraduate and graduate students.
- A science knowledge competition with prizes.
New this year, Vandal Science Day is partnering with Idaho Eats to offer attendees a special all-day dining rate at The Eatery, the on-campus, all-you-care-to-eat restaurant.
Students are welcome to attend individually or with their class or family. The event is free and open to all.
