In Lewiston, if the voting trend continues, Dan Johnson will remain Mayor. The current count is 63% for Johnson and 37% for Darlene Lambert.
The top three vote-getters so far for the three City Council Positions up for grabs are Kassee Foresmann with 700 votes, Matthew Wright with 575 votes, and Bryan Moree with 469 votes.
After that, Andrea Ackerland has 439, Bob Blakey has 428, Linda Glines has 371, and Brennan Leafty has 167 votes.
At last check the $38 Million infrastructure bond is currently failing. It’s currently 59% in favor and 41% opposed. It requires 66.67% in favor to pass.
These results are still preliminary. The Auditor’s Office will continue to count ballots and certify them in several days.
