A Pasco man wanted on six counts of First Degree Assault for an alleged shooting incident in Pasco has been taken into custody in Pullman.
According to Pullman Police, the department was notified that Osman Morales-Salto, who was believed to be the suspect in a shooting incident Sunday in Pasco, may be in Aspen Heights area of Pullman.
Nearby residents were evacuated and the Whitman County Regional SWAT Team, in conjunction with members of the Pasco Street Crimes Unit, and Latah County Regional SWAT Team, were activated and deployed to Aspen Heights to confirm whether Morales-Salto was present. After several hours of surveillance, the suspect was taken into custody, without incident.
