If you’re still unsure how you’ll vote on the Library Levy in Asotin County, there are two options to learn more. Tomorrow (Weds) evening at 6:00 Library Director Jennifer Ashby will be giving an overview of the levy lid lift. She’ll also explain what it means for the community and she’ll answer all your questions.
This levy will return the Library’s funding to 50-cents per $1,000 of assessed property value after it was decreased by a state law. The funds support library programs, services, and more.
If you can’t make tomorrow’s meeting, there’s another on Saturday starting at 1:00pm. The meetings are both at the downtown Library at 5th and Sycamore streets.
