Nez Perce County will be closing the R-330 Road also known as Cottonwood Creek Road at the George Creek Crossing near the George Grade, to all traffic beginning Monday, November 3rd through Tuesday, December 16th.
Work crews will be replacing the George Creek culvert crossing with a new open bottom structure, which will allow for fish passage up that portion of George Creek. Funding for the project has been secured through grants awarded to Nez Perce County from Federal sources.
The work requires removal of the entire roadway at that location, and travelers will need to find alternate routes and plan for extended travel time.
