Students at Asotin Elementary School were treated to a special talk today. This week is Red Ribbon Week, which is a time to talk to kids about living a drug-free life. Clarkston Police Department’s John Morbeck stopped by with Asotin Police Chief Monte Renzelman to talk about drug awareness. They took the time to chat about the importance of safe trick-or-treating, emphasizing things like only accepting candy in original, untampered packaging.
If you’d like to know more about what to say to your kids, you can go to redribbon.org. The theme for this year’s Red Ribbon Week is “Life Is A Puzzle, Solve It Drug Free”.
