The Lewiston High football team is back in action tonight (Mon) in Coeur d’Alene when the Bengals take part in a Kansas Tie-Breaking event to determine the Inland Empire League champion.

Lewiston, Lakeland and Sandpoint all finished the regular season with a 1-1 record inside the conference, with Lewiston beating Sandpoint and losing to Lakeland, while Sandpoint beat Lakeland, and Lakeland beat Lewiston.

The tree teams will meet in a round robin playoff tonight (Mon) at 6 p.m. at Coeur d’Alene High School. Based on Idaho State 5-A rankings, all three teams will likely advance to the state playoffs, with the last team standing tonight being crowned the regular season champion and securing at least one home playoff game.  It will also help determine seeding for the upcoming playoffs.

Fans can tune in for live radio coverage of the event in the LC Valley on The River 105.1 FM and streaming free online at bengalsports.com.
