Post Season Aspirations on the Line this Weekend for Several Area High School Football Teams

Post season berths will likely be earned this weekend for several local high school football teams.

The Lewiston Bengals travel to Lakeland for a game that could decide the 5-A Inland Empire League regular season champion tonight (Fri).

The Bengals are 3-5 overall, but are 1-0 in league. The Hawks are 7-1 overall, but are 0-1 inside the IEL.

Kick-off from Rathdrum is scheduled for 7 p.m. with live radio coverage in the LC Valley on The River 105.1 FM and streaming free online at bengalsports.com.

Meanwhile, Clarkston looks for its first win of the season tonight when the Bantams host Pullman at Adams Field. Asotin has a road game at Lind-Ritzville and Orofino wraps-up the regular season tonight at home with a league game against St. Maries with live radio coverage in the upper Clearwater Valley on AM 1300 KLER.

In 8-Man action tonight: Kendrick looks to complete the regular season undefeated with a home game against Prairie; Kamiah buses to Lapwai to face the Wildcats; Potlatch is at home to play Logos; Clearwater Valley buses to Troy; unbeaten Genesee closes out the regular season tonight when the Bulldogs host Deary; Lewis County heads to Weippe for a conference game with Timberline; Salmon River closes out the regular season on the road at Cascade; Pomeroy is hosting Dayton; and Garfield-Palouse plays tonight at Tekoa-Oakesdale-Rosalia.
