Someone shot a bull elk and left it where it died, now Idaho Fish & Game officers would like to know what happened. A release from Fish & Game says conservation officers got a call of a dead elk 4 miles southwest of Moscow near Lenville Road. Their investigation showed a bullet hole in the bull. It appears to have died where it was shot. It was likely shot the evening of October 10th or the morning of the 11th.
If you have any information about the shooting, you can call the Fish & Game Clearwater Regional Office at (208) 799-5010 or the Citizens Against Poaching hotline at (800) 632-5999.
