Next week a trip down Highway 95 could take longer than usual. Idaho Transportation crews are going to be working on rocky slopes near Riggins.
South of town, near the Sheep Creek Rest Area, they’ll be removing loose rocks and installing reflective prisms on the rock face above the road to monitor slope movement.
North of Riggins, near Bull’s Eye Corner, they’ll be replacing damaged signs.
A press release from the ITD says delays could last up to 20 minutes between 8am and 6pm for the next week. Flaggers will hold traffic back when they’re removing rocks from the slope.
