Your favorite hunting spot may be easy to access on Saturday, but hard to get out of on Monday. The National Weather Service out of Missoula is warning of snowfall of up to 8 inches in some locations this weekend.
The snow level is expected to drop to 4,500 feet Sunday night. The nearest pass that’s going to be affected is Lolo Pass on Highway 12 at more than 5,200 feet. They just expect minor accumulation on the pass, but backcountry roads and trails could get 2-8 inches.
