It’s time to cover the tomatoes and your windshield. Many places around the LC Valley will see frost tonight. Many will have freezing temperatures to go with it.
The National Weather Services predicts temperatures 2 or 3 degrees below freezing tonight on the Palouse with a layer of frost by the time you wake up.
Grangeville will be right at freezing with a chance of rain. An unexpected, slight drop in temperature could change that to a snowy night. Winchester is also expected to get frosty tonight with a low of 31 degrees. Orofino should just avoid the frost with a low two degrees above freezing. Kamiah and Anatone won’t quite hit freezing, but could still end up with frost overnight.
