Nez Perce County firefighters just finished extinguishing a fire near the Clearwater River Casino. A van caught fire around 1:00 this afternoon. Before firefighters could arrive, a deputy reportedly used two fire extinguishers, but was unable to put it out. It is considered a total loss. There are no reports of anyone injured in the fire.
