The lockdown at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center is now lifted. On a social media post they said the lockdown was “implemented overnight following a domestic-related situation involving a single family. This was an isolated incident, and at no time was there a direct threat to patients, staff, visitors, or the surrounding community.” The post continues, saying “With the support of local law enforcement, the situation has been resolved, and there is no ongoing safety concern.”
The hospital is back open. They say all operations, appointments, and services have resumed as normal.
