More than 700 Avista electric customers in the Elk City and surrounding areas will experience a planned power outage on Friday, October 17. The outage will begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at 3:00 p.m. Impacted customers have been notified.
During the outage, Avista crews will be performing maintenance on equipment in the area to increase the safety and reliability of its system. Local traffic will be impacted on Highway 14 between milepost 29 and 30 where traffic will be down to one lane.
