The 2025 season of Toys For Tots is underway. Over the next several weeks volunteers will be working to gather donations.
Toys For Tots has been going for 78 years, run by the U.S. Marine Corps volunteers. Local Marine Sgt. Jason Brown is leading the local drive. Last year the Lewiston campaign gave out more than 8,700 toys to more than 1,900 kids.
If you’d like to donate, they accept new, unused, and unwrapped toys for kids 0-15 years old. A release from the organization says they often run out of toys for 8-15 year-old kids, so they’re of the highest need. Things like craft kids, makeup sets, Lego kits, nerf guns, and fishing poles and tackle make great gifts for those ages.
