An Idaho County deputy was advised of a sex offense in Idaho County last Wednesday. A release from the Idaho County Sheriff’s Office says they investigated the incident and got an arrest warrant. Saturday they arrested 36-year-old William Smith, of Kooskia. He was taken in for felony lewd conduct with a minor child under 16.
The Sheriff’s Office says “this arrest demonstrates our commitment to protecting children and investigating crimes against minors in our community.”
