If you’d like to help local families in the fight against Alzheimer’s, you can this weekend. The Walk To End Alzheimer’s is Saturday all over the country.
Locally, the Quad-Cities 2-mile walk starts at Kiwanis Park at 10:30. 71 people have signed up at the time of writing this story. If you’d like to participate, you can register online. Registration at the park is at 9:30am with an opening ceremony at 10:00am.
The local organization is hoping to raise $25,000 during this effort. So far they have just more than half of that.
