A reminder today that local fire departments and law enforcement agencies make their way through the LC Valley tomorrow night (Thurs). The procession of red and blue honors the men and women who gave all on September 11th, 2001 in New York. Firefighters, medics, deputies, and police officers will be driving through the valley, and passing in front of local fire stations.
The procession starts at 5:30 in Asotin. From there, they’ll head into the Clarkston Heights and past the Asotin County Fire District building on Appleside. Then it’s down to Elm and over to the Clarkston Fire Department, across the Southway Bridge, up into the Orchards, east on Burrell, back down Thain and 21st, and through downtown Lewiston, ending at Station 1.
There is no ceremony at Pioneer Park this year. It will likely return next year.
