Shots Heard At Swallows Park Were Goose Hunting

We heard from concerned citizens on Saturday that there were gun shots coming from the Swallows Park area. It turns out there was a goose hunt over the weeekend. A representative from Washington’s Fish & Wildlife says it was legal to hunt geese on the 6^th and 7^th in our area and that there was a wildlife officer there to make sure everyone was hunting safely.

You may hear more shots later this month. There’s another hunt coming up September 27^th. Next month people may be hunting the 11^th – 27^th.
