
It’s a busy week for local high school football teams.
The Lewiston Bengals travel to Coeur d’Alene to face the Vikings. Both teams are looking for their first win after falling in their first two games.
Kick-off from Coeur d’Alene is set for 7 p.m. tonight (Fri) with live radio coverage in the LC Valley on The River 105.1 FM and streaming free online at bengalsports.com.
In other high school action this weekend: Clarkston opens it’s season tonight (Fri) on the road in Moscow to face the Bears; Asotin opens the year with a road game at Tri-Cities Prep; Pullman travels to play Lakeside; unbeaten Grangeville buses north to face Priest River; Orofino plays its first home game tonight against Salmon with live radio coverage in the upper Clearwater Valley on AM 1300 KLER; and Colfax opens the season at home against Lake Roosevelt.
In 8-Man action: Four-time defending state champion Kendrick is home tonight (Fri) against Hagerman; Lapwai travels to Moscow to play Logos; Prairie has a long road trip for a non-league game at Valley; Genesee is at home tonight to meet Troy; Potlatch is in the Treasure Valley for a neutral site game with Oakley in Payette; Clearwater Valley buses to Glenns Ferry to face the Pilots; Lewis County has a home game with Lakeside; Deary travels to Cambridge to play Tri-Valley; Timberline has a home game with Salmon River tonight; Garfield Palouse opens the season on the road at Liberty Christian; and Pomeroy opens the year tomorrow (Sat) with a road game at Waterville/Mansfied.
