Smoke Relief Possible Tomorrow Evening

Relief from the smoke in the air could be possible tomorrow night. We’ve been inundated with smoke for weeks now from fires all over the northwest. Yesterday (Weds) the National Weather Service reported there were 22 active fires in Washington, Idaho, Oregon and southern British Columbia, bringing smoke to our area no matter which way the wind blows.

Tomorrow’s forecast map from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration shows winds coming from the northeast and potentially bringing clear skies our way. Until they know for sure, the National Weather Service has extended the Air Quality Alert until further notice.
