Asotin Hit and Run Driver Arrested

An arrest has been made in connection with the hit and run collision that occurred yesterday (Thur), in front of the Asotin-Anatone School.  Asotin police say a white Dodge pickup hit a bicycle rack and fled the scene.

According to a news release from the Asotin Police Department, at approximately 6:20 p.m. yesterday, Clarkston Police arrested Kendall J. Poe, following Asotin Police Chief Monte Renzelman’s probable cause investigation of the incident. Poe was booked into the Asotin County Jail on charges of Reckless Driving, Hit and Run, and Failure to Operate an Interlock Device.

The Asotin Police Department thanked the public for their assistance throughout the investigation, adding that tips, observations, and cooperation were instrumental in identifying the vehicle and the driver, ultimately leading to the arrest.
