Rain may come this week to give relief from the smoke in the air. The National Weather Service predicts at 20% chance of rain Wednesday with thunderstorms possible in the afternoon and evening. Thursday has an even better chance of rain. Either way, we should be out of the triple-digit high temperatures for at least a few days after tomorrow. The extreme heat warning ends Wednesday at 9:00pm.
