More firefighting assets have arrived to battle the Central Ferry wildfire burning in Whitman County.
All evacuation alerts have been lifted and any roads that had been closed have reopened.
Additional resources have been deployed following the state mobilization request.
The blaze, which began as result of a vehicle fire Wednesday afternoon, has grown to nearly 6,600 acres in size and is now listed at 40 percent contained.
