The Asotin County Sheriff’s Office has identified the two people involved in Saturday’s murder-suicide in Clarkston.
Investigators say 37-year-old Sergio Hernandez shot and killed 32-year-old Eliza Elias before turning the gun on himself Saturday at a residence on the 1200 Block of Boston Street.
Two young children and their great-grandmother, who was caring for them in another part of the home, were unharmed.
The firearm was recovered at the scene.
The investigation into a motive in the case is ongoing.
