
Lewis-Clark State College is scheduled to welcome new students to campus with New Student Orientation events this (Wed) evening and August 15.
All degree-seeking students are invited to both events which give incoming students the opportunity to walk their course schedule and hear welcoming remarks from LC State President Cynthia Pemberton, and Senior Vice President/Vice President for Student Affairs Andy Hanson.
Today’s (Wed) event will take place from 4:30-7 p.m. in the Williams Conference Center and was designed with adult learners and transfer students in mind. A resource fair with representatives from various LC State offices and a dinner/information session will be held for students attending the first event. Students attending will also receive their WarriorOne Card.
August 15th attendees will take part in an all-day event with check-in opening at 7:45 a.m. at the P1FCU Activity Center. The day will conclude with an advisor check-in from 2-4 p.m. inside Room 208 of Reid Centennial Hall. Additional activities will include a convocation ceremony, small group sessions, family and friends sessions, a division information session, invitation-based scholar events, lunch, a Warrior Zone outfit of the day station, an international student welcome, and a group photo.
Residence hall move-in is scheduled for August 13.
