The City of Lewiston is partnering with Knife River Corporation – Mountain West to begin construction on the 12th Street Sidewalk Infill Project, which includes a half-block improvement on Bryden Avenue between Thain Road and 12th Street.
According to a news release from the city, the project will enhance pedestrian access and safety by installing 5-foot-wide concrete sidewalks, concrete curbs and gutters, Americans with Disability Act-compliant pedestrian ramps, stormwater swales, and pavement patching.
Work is scheduled to begin Monday, August 11th, with crews typically working between 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.
Motorists and pedestrians should expect temporary delays and disruptions in the area as work progresses. As with any construction project, schedules are subject to change due to unforeseen conditions.
