An Asotin man drowned while kayaking on the Snake River Saturday.
According to the Asotin County Sheriff’s Office, 38-year-old Adam Anson’s body was found about 80 yards downstream from his kayak, just south of Chief Looking Glass Park.
Anson was reported missing after his kayak was found anchored about 50 feet from the shore.
According to the sheriff’s office, divers from Nez Perce County located Anson’s body in about 16 feet of water.
