Miguel Andujar belted two home runs and Brent Rooker also homered as the Athletics held off the Seattle Mariners 5-4 last (Wed) night in Sacramento.
Randy Arozarena had two hits, including a home run and Julio Rodriguez and Jorge Polanco also went deep for the Mariners.
Bryan Woo took the loss. The Seattle right-hander allowed 5 runs on 8 hits with 6 strikeouts over his 6 1/3 inning start.
The Mariners return home to begin a 10-game home stand beginning tonight (Thur) with the first game of a four-game American League West Division series with Texas.
