Both of the Krogmans were in Asotin County Superior Court this morning. Thomas Krogman was originally charged with Attempted Murder. Now he’s also facing the charge of Conspiracy To Commit Murder. Last week Phyllis Krogman was arrested for Conspiracy to Commit Murder based on telephone conversations. Today, Thomas Krogman’s attorney explained to the judge that when she said in a phone conversation to Thomas Krogman that her brother “should pay”, that meant “to be charged” with a crime or crimes. The attorney went on to say it takes “giant leaps of logic” to connect Phyllis to Thomas for the conspiracy charge.
Phyllis Krogman is also facing two charges. Attempted Murder 1st Degree Domestic Violence and Conspiracy to Commit Murder 1st Degree Domestic Violence. She plead Not Guilty to both charges.
Phyllis Krogman will be back in court August 4th. Her husband, Thomas Krogman, will be back for his trial starting September 3rd.
Daniel Henry, Phyllis Krogman’s brother, was stabbed in early June. Police records say he admitted to molesting a different sister when they were children. Surveillance and LPD cameras show Thomas Krogman’s car parked near the Motel 6 where Henry worked, then traveling through Lewiston. Krogman was later arrested in his hometown of Gillette, WY.
