The Nez Perce County Sheriff’s Office is launching targeted aggressive driving enforcement patrols beginning this Sunday in effort to reduce dangerous driving behaviors and improve public safety on our roadways.
According to news release from the Sheriff’s Office, aggressive driving continues to be a leading cause of crashes, injuries and fatalities. In response, deputies will be increasing patrols in high-traffic and high-incident areas, watching closely for signs of reckless and aggressive behavior behind the wheel.
Motorists are reminded to drive responsibly, remain patient and follow traffic laws. Avoiding distractions, leaving ample following distance, and obeying posted speed limits are simple steps that can make a lifesaving difference. The sheriff’s office reminds motorists to drive smart, and drive safe.
