A man was arrested outside Kamiah for assault and battery Tuesday. A press release from the Idaho County Sheriff’s Office says 38-year-old Clay George was walking with a woman and their two kids when dogs began running at them. The release says he drew his gun, but the owners of the dogs retrieved them. Then there was a verbal argument, and the report says George head-butted the dog owner.
The original call was for assault with a firearm, but George was arrested for felony aggravated assault and felony aggravated battery.
