The National Weather Service is warning of bad weather coming that could let wildfires get worse very quickly. Friday afternoon and evening, the temperatures will reach well into the 90s to more than 100 degrees in the LC and Clearwater Valleys. They expect eastern Washington to have very low humidity and west winds gusting up to 35 miles per hour in some locations.

The warning comes on Thursday for some locations west of us. Central and eastern Oregon and south central Washington could be impacted by winds up to 40 miles per hour.

The Weather Service says “Outdoor burning is not recommended. Any fire that develops will catch and spread quickly.”
