Orofino firefighters rushed to a fire yesterday afternoon. A release from the OFD says a motor home’s brakes caught fire while driving, and it came to rest next to an RV. The fire spread to the RV and both were a total loss. The OFD, Twin Ridge Fire Department, Clearwater-Potlatch Timber Protective Associaion, Clearwater County Sheriff’s Office and Orofino Police Department were all involved in keeping the area safe.
Firefighters want to take this oppotunitiy to remind you that fire can start from anywhere, especially when it’s this hot.
